The Fog is an explosive, sensual thriller of the life of a young sophisticated, efficacious suburban South African woman, Lerato, who is determined to live beyond societal stereotypes. She defies cultural conditioning and societal dictates of what the life of a girl child or woman should be, by leading a highly sophisticated corporation in a male dominated environment.

Her life turns into a roller coaster of intense emotion, sensuality and fairy-tale when she meets the one that effortlessly arouses her sexual cravings from their first encounter on a flight to Cape Town. From the onset, the elusive “Mr Right” – a living epitome of manhood,  got her body doing all the talking about how she feels about him despite her futile attempts to resist her desires. As she revelled in the moment’s immense sensations, she gives in to exploring a part of her life which she had neglected because of her past. All her walls are broken down, leaving her unusually vulnerable, excited and scared at the same time.

Now captivated by the love that consumed the air she breathed, her grasp on a newly found love life seemed firm. Yet suddenly her past comes back to haunt her. But is it all real, or it is just the reality of nothingness? Has she conquered the shackles of her past? Like the thickness of The Fog, so real to the eye, yet intangible. Will it all begin to wither away?
